Time: 10:00am-4:00pm, Wednesday, May 22, 2019

Location: Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Public Library, 318 S. Ramona Avenue, Monterey Park, CA 91754. 

The program will consist of both keynote and member presentations. Patty Wong, distinguished librarian leader and Director of Library Services of Santa Monica Public Library, will be our keynote speaker.  

Registration: $25 for members & $35 for non-members, by May 19, 2019.
Onsite Registration: Members $35 for members & $45 for non-members.

CALA-SCA chapter is pleased to offer free registrations to the first ten registrants who fit one of the three criteria: 1) current library school students; 2) retired librarians; or 3) librarians whose employer doesn't provide professional development fund.

Parking Information

For conference participants, it is OK to park at any parking spots around they library EXCEPT the following permit-only spots that clearly marked:

1. "Library Staff Parking Only"
2. "Employee of the Month"
3. Although some of the parking spots are marked "1 hour parking" or "3 hours parking", the city has not enforced the rules in the past so it is OK to park in those spots longer.
